I wanted to tell it as a form of therapy for myself, but also in the hopes that someone who is going through a difficult process will read this and not feel alone. When I started the process of adopting, there really wasn't anything I could find about the process of adopting to become the mom I always wanted to be. My sons are now young adults, thriving, and each doing well out on their own. I dedicate this to them and the hopes they will be happy successful men, which is all I have ever wanted for them.
