She has faced the loss of her mother and other family members from childhood and endured physical and mental abuse. Broken and empty, her journey took a detour into a time in the sex industry. Overcoming setback after setback, personally and financially, drove her to a failed suicide attempt. Hitting rock bottom became a place to rise again, only to be blind-sided with fighting side by side with her husband, best friend and soul mate, a losing battle with terminal cancer. She courageously exposes her own life in an effort to remind others that no matter what the journey brings, even when the path diverges into unknown territory, and the path ahead is hidden, we are not alone. Her story that nearly ended in taking her own life, and literally getting run over by a truck, is not over. Her time in the sex industry fueled her desire to create a nonprofit that provides love, services, and hope for those who are walking where she walked.
