These and other features make such environments distributed thereby becoming dynamic and continuously changing. As such, the technology used to model such domains or environments must cope with unpredictable situations that appear in the system. This book, therefore, presents the concepts of an appropriate technology known as Multi-Agent Systems that can be used to develop flexible applications needed to resolve unpredictable situations that normally arise in distributed environments.
