Being raised in a military family gave me a strong sense of qualities I would need in my life. The times on the Army base and the opportunities I had to be part of a caring and nurturing group left a distinct impression on my older brother and me. My father taught us about duty and honor and the importance they have in your life. Those traits have served me well in my walk with the Lord. It has been a miraculous journey, and I am amazed at God's goodness and grace with every step we took. My prayer for each of you reading this book is to rest in the Lord's loving arms as you walk your long and winding path with Him. Enjoy the views!
