This is not merely a tale of my journey from Colombia to America. It is a true story about love, hardship, travel, adventure, tears, and ultimately, joy. A family as large as mine shared one common dream: to be together in the United States of America. There was no rhyme or reason in choosing the methods to get here, but at the end of the day, our love and devotion for each other brought us where God destined us to be: in the land of the free. We were more than just wetbacks, we were lovers and believers. This is our story.
