Explain the methods used for optimal control system analysis and design. 5. Use Riccatti equation to design an optimal control system. 6. Have the competence to independently read the literature in control and systems theory.

Dr. Mahidzal Dahari is currently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He is an established academician and Professional Engineer from BEM (Malaysia), Member of IEEE (USA) and Chartered Engineer from IET (UK).
