Network failures are unavoidable but early detection, identification and prediction of such faults is very crucial to the robustness of the network. Different artificial intelligent techniques are used in design and implementation of the system for the reason that network faults are uncertain and dynamic in their behaviour. Network faults models are derived using Bayesian networks, which forms the engine of mobile intelligent agents (MIA). MIA operates like honeybee within a network environment and is used because of being platform independent, dynamic adaptation, network traffic reduction, mobile and robust.
