Dr. Biplab Das is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar, India. He pursued his Post-Doctoral research at the University of Idaho, USA, under the prestigious BASE fellowship from the IUSSTF and DST, GoI. He was a visiting researcher at Ulster University, UK, as ‘Overseas Associateship’ awarded by the DBT. He has published 150+ refereed papers. Dr. Das has been involved in 12 sponsored projects funded by various agencies, and completed 10 of them. His research areas include heat transfer, solar thermal systems, alternative fuels, and energy storage, among others. Dr. Ripon Patgiri received his Ph.D. from the NIT Silchar in 2019. He has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NIT Silchar, since 2013. He has been awarded several international patents. He is a senior member of IEEE. He is a member of EAI and a lifetime member of ACCS, India. Also, he is an associate member of IETE. He was the General Chair of conferences such as ICACNI-2018 and BigDML-2019, and the Organizing Chair of FRSM-2020 and the 26th ADCOM, 2020. He is also an editor of the book “Health Informatics: A Computational Perspective in Healthcare and published a monograph book, titled “Bloom Filter: A Data Structure for Computer Networking, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Bioinformatics and Beyond”, Elsevier. Prof. (Dr.) Jayanta Mondol is a Professor of Solar Energy Technologies and the Research Director at the Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment at Ulster University, UK. Before this role, he served as the Course Director for the Architectural Engineering and Energy and Building Services Engineering programs at Ulster University. He completed his Ph.D. at Ulster University in 2004. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research interests focus on multifunctional solar facades, and net-zero carbon buildings. He has successfully coordinated several multidisciplinary research projects, and his research has attracted over £18 million in research funding through EPSRC, Invest Northern Ireland, Royal Society, British Council, Innovate UK, and the EU. Mondol has published over 140 research papers and contributed over 20 research reports. Prof. Rajat Gupta, a national scholarship holder, and a Ph.D. from IIT-Delhi, retired on Superannuation as a HAG-Professor of Mechanical Engineering, NIT- Silchar, Assam. Prior to this, he served as the Director of NIT Srinagar, NIT Mizoram and NIT Silchar. Presently, he is the Vice Chancellor of Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute & Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai. He has produced 17 Ph.D.s, having 2 patents and more than 200 publications. Recently, Stanford University recognized Professor Gupta as a Top 2% Scientist worldwide, a testament to his impactful research and scholarly contributions. He also served as the Chairman of the Mizoram State Centre of the Institution of Engineers, India. He is the recipient of various prestigious awards from the country. Prof. Dilip Kumar Baidya graduated in Civil Engineering in 1987 from Bengal Engineering College Shibpur (presently IIEST) and obtained an M.E. and Ph.D. from IISc Bangalore . He joined IIT Kharagpur in 1994 and has been a Professor of Civil Engineering since 2008. Prof. Baidya has over 30 years of experience in teaching and research. Before joining NIT Silchar as the Director, he was a Professor and Head of the Civil Engineering Department and Chairperson of Ranbir and Chitra Gupta School of Infrastructure Design and Management at IIT Kharagpur. Prof. Baidya is a Fellow of the Indian Geotechnical Society and a member of ASCE and ISSMGTE. He has published more than 125 papers in refereed journals. Prof. Baidya served 2 years as a Faculty member at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. Besides teaching and research, he has provided consultancy services to various industrial problems.
