Mobile phones technically known as Wireless Handsets / Cellular Phones provide two basic types of services: voice and data. Voice services include: talking to a recipient on your mobile phone. Data services include: messaging, downloading information on the internet. The focus here is on messaging and the aim of this work is to present a system which will equip a PC with a means of communicating with a mobile phone by way of sending messages. This should provide a basis for the design of many interactive remote information systems.
