Autor

Puyã Yohannes was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and now resides in Philadelphia. There has never been a time in her life where she didn't draw. Her children sparked the need for enchanting stories that have realistic backgrounds and fictional outcomes. That's when she started her journey of storytelling. She is a self taught artist whose culture heavily influences her illustrations. MitMita, The Injera Curled Hero is her first book published in 2021. MitMita, The Spector Long Lost is her second book published 2022. Her storytelling gives you a combination of her childhood in Addis Ababa, culture, history, magic, love, friendships, mythology, all wrapped up together like a perfectly assembled gursha!!
