Curiosity and trust leads her to invite the man to take shelter in her office, but as she gets to know him better things are not quite what they appear. The entrancing story presented by the stranger, Zorando, seems unlikely. When Jacqui puts the story to the test she is completely unprepared for the result. Zorando is on a mission from the 34th century to take home Shanovia, who has inexplicably travelled back to the 20th century. Through an ingenious plan activated by Shanovia in the 20th century, Zorando, in the 34th century, finds out where she is and how to get her back. The story is told partly by Zorando and partly by Shanovia who tells her story through a hologram recording that Zorando has brought from his own time.
