The book covers what death is, what may happen at the funeral service and information about the mixture of feelings that may follow. Missing Someone Special is designed to encourage children to learn about and express their grief in healthy ways, and help open those often tricky conversations within families.

Autor

Fay has worked with bereaved people since leaving school at the age of 17. Originally training as a Funeral Arranger, she went on to specialise in bereavement support a few years later. Fay now runs support groups and has curated programmes in her local community on behalf of Dandelions Bereavement Support. In 2020 she qualified as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, allowing Dandelions to expand its support once services again to offer bereavement counselling.
