Miracles and Parables is a small book designed to address new attitude: that Jesus the man and Christ the consciousness 'are' and are not the same. Jesus lived and taught us through signs and miracles. He showed us what it looks like to be fully human by walking among us. She juxtaposed the images with text that included history, religious context, and her reflections. The iconography combines inspired meditation and prayer to stimulate startling conclusions hidden in the images. Author Bio. Mary Jane Miller is a Byzantine style iconographer with over 30 years of experience. While living full time in San Miguel Allende, Mexico, Miller writes luxuriously, blending historical content, and personal insights to arrive at contemporary conclusions about faith. Her books are unique, provocative and at times unorthodox filled with beautiful collections of sacred art. Icon Painting Revealed, The Byzantine Iconography, In light of Women, and Life in Christ. Miller has been published online and in publications such as Divine Temple Russian Orthodox Journal, Feminism and Religion, Faith and Forum Magazine, Liturgy Today and Profiles of Catholicism.
