Dr Peter Baratosy MBBS, FACNEM is a medical doctor, lecturer, and writer on chronic diseases, especially thyroid disease, gut disorders, hormonal problems and metabolic syndrome. He has also written and published a book on CBD Oil. He has a great interest in using a more natural approach in treating chronic disease, though he does also use conventional medicines if, and when, needed. He graduated more than 45 years ago from the University of Adelaide Medical School in Australia and has over 40 years' experience as a functional medicine practitioner. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Cannabis Prescribers. He is an accredited Medical Acupuncturist with the Medical Board of Australia. He lives in Tasmania with his wife Jenny.
