It is also about the unbelievable story of a device scandal, where people were left with irreversible physical and mental damage, caused by the implant of a device. Although it is unlikely that anyone working for the company set out to cause such harm, once it became aware of the situation, colleagues colluded to cover up the facts and this corruption went on for many years. It took whistle blowers like the heroes in our story to bring the truth to light and make the public aware of what was really going on.
