Captured by the discursive ambiguity that surrounds the TGPPG, women internalize feelings and behaviours of submission to supposed male authority; unilateral responsibility for maintaining the emotional bond; emotional dependence on men; blame for the dissolution of the emotional relationship; devaluation of their professional skills and, consequently, trivialization of the violence perpetrated against them in a space where they should feel safe.
