Ten minutes later, he returns the hat to the owner - a beautiful woman called Becky. One look into her eyes and he is lost. Circumstances concerning Becky's work cause her to spend time with Robin. They soon get to know each other and find they have lots in common. The attraction between them is obvious. All is going well until Robin reveals why he's in Holly Blue Bay, and how if affects Becky's beloved pier. Becky is horrified at the news and wonders if she can ever be friends again with Robin.
