In connection to DESERTEC, this report enables the user to have a quick overview of the MENA countries' power markets in context of structure, load & generation profile, existing & future consumption trends and tariffs.

Autor

The author holds a Masters degree in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen Germany. His area of specialization is planning and assessment of power systems. This report was written in 2011 as a part of Master thesis at RWTH Aachen. Currently he is working as a full time faculty member at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan.
