It has long been understood, and in virtually every culture, that the family is the foundation upon which every society is built. As the family breaks down, so does society. Today, perhaps, as never before, God’s plan for marriage and the family are under vicious attack, not just in America, but around the world . . . But even in the darkness of a sin-soaked and morally perverse culture, there is light! That blessed light offers hope to the sinner and the society in which he lives, for that light comes from the Word of God, the Bible. There we are told that the Lord Jesus Christ is the "true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." We are further told that "the light shineth in darkness…" (John 1:5, 9)
