'Overall I would think the book is helpful for UPSC and State Service Examination preparation since it covers the basic requirement well- a) covers the topics in the syllabus well b) explains in very simple (even conversational) c) Has interesting illustrations (graphs, charts) and fun-facts thrown in to help the reader connect abstract concepts to the real world d) Brief, to the point analysis, hence not very bulky.
