I think of photography as a perfect tool to create my very own interpretation of reality - for me personally, a reality that is about beauty, art, and aesthetics, not necessarily technical perfection. I am not interested in capturing the exact likeness of someone or something and long to arrest all beauty and the non-obvious or at least make the obvious not look obvious. By doing so, I seek that 'in-between' experience with surreal momentum that escapes the static reproduction of reality. I am intrigued by the interplay between fiction and reality - the subconscious and the conscious - and want to take the audience on a journey through my mind and visual world.
