To this end, traditional Brazilian games were adapted from teaching material produced by the São Paulo State Department (2006). This book contains: an introduction describing the project, the materials and methods used; a brief literature review on the game; the adapted traditional games, with an indication for teachers of the content that can be worked on in each of them; experience reports on the activities that were applied with the children during the research; and some final considerations on the work.
