This plan emphasizes free access for all to prevention and treatment through free distribution of LLINs, free IPT for pregnant women and early treatment of malaria cases in children under five.Nearly 19% of children with suspected malaria cases in the last two weeks prior to the survey did not receive any treatment. In order to contribute to the improvement of malaria case management in children, this study addresses the influence of individual and community characteristics on treatment abstention in children under five years of age.
