The objective of the nine contributions in this volume is not to solve all the questions related to this subject, but to conduct a detailed examination of some of these works, whether only allegedly or clearly spurious, assessing them on their own merits and at the same time situating them within the broader context of Lucian?s oeuvre and tradition.
