The work sifts through generational legacy and ritual, the complexity of the mother daughter bond; what we hold on to and what we shed. The author captures surrender and wonder within the cracks of our chaotic daily lives; through the singularity of sound, the beauty of taste, the tangibility of touch, allowing us to look backwards and forward at the same time.

Autor

Ms. Reiss' work has been published in Roi Fainéant Press, Boats Against the Current, Open Door Magazine, Penumbra: Literary and Art Journal and others. Ms. Reiss is the creator of Motherhood Selfhood workshop series. She co-wrote and performed in Man in the Flying Lawn Chair, (winner of the Edinburgh Fringe First Award; re-recorded as a radio play for the BBC; published by Samuel French). Ms. Reiss is also a psychotherapist and has been in practice for over a decade. She is a graduate of Boston University, The Atlantic Theater Company Conservatory and received her Master's degree from Antioch University.
