Katie is a hard-working mom of three very different and wonderful kids. During a difficult time, Katie created Bart as a character in her children's bedtime stories. Bart inspired self-awareness and opened up feelings that had been buried deep, not only for her children, but for herself. Katie hopes that Bart will teach kids and families alike to honour their feelings, as they are real and we all have a right to them.
