'Flax Blossoms' is about a barely restrained sexual attraction in a pastoral setting, and the passion seems to burst through the pages. Two other writings are from the period of Lithuania's rebirth and its path towards re-establishment of independence in the 1990s. Ostensibly opinion pieces, they are poetical and unique.
