Born and raised in North Buffalo, NY, Maria currently resides in the charming Highland Park Neighborhood of Rochester, NY. As a child, she often struggled to navigate a world filled with overwhelming uncertainties and big emotions, making it challenging to stay balanced and regulated. It was through the compassionate guidance and support of her Mother, Patti Brady, that Maria discovered how to channel her vivid imagination and deep connection with nature into a healthy outlet for her intense feelings. Listen to the Trees is the author's ode to the healing power of Mother nature and the profound lessons we can learn if we slow down and tune in to the stories all around us.
