He searches for his lost son, Chad, who disappeared nine years ago after an altercation with a local Tear Falls resident named Milt Tonkin. Silas accepts the offer and, with the help of his best friend, Ben, and his sister, Blessing, sets out to the remote mining town to find answers. Their quest to locate Chad immerses them into a web of small-town corruption and rumours of murder that has the trio risking the same fate of the very person they are looking for.
