He routed the Vince Gill & Amy Grant Christmas tour in the same year that the US went into Iraq. Before video was even coming out of Iraq, Bob connected families of service men and women in the early morning hours with their loved ones (Live) during the Christmas concert in San Antonio on a huge video screen completely surprising spouses, children and fans in attendance. Bob shares stories of him growing up the son of a commercial fisherman on a trawler in Montauk, NY where in 1965, a Russian submarine surfaced and nearly blew him and his father out of the water just miles from the US shore.
