Autor

Gareth Lynn Jones was born May 1st, 1943 in a small hamlet near Ebbw Vale in South Wales. After a lifetime of telling stories, when he was almost eighty years old he put pen to paper and wrote one of the most magnificent stories of twentieth century working class life in the coal mining families since "How Green Was My Valley". Gareth writes, "This was a time when for a boy to become a man you had to stand up for what was yours around you." And Gareth did that. His life and his book is about standing up - for yourself, for your family, for your friends, and for Wales, the country that he loves
