In 2018, she founded, "Mental Health Empowerment Group" a business in which she makes educational videos on mental health awareness and mental health coaching. She is a member of Toastmasters Public Speaking Organization and a Co-facilitator with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Connections. This is Deanna's second book. Her first book, a novel entitled "My Life is Perfect" was published in 2010. When Deanna is not writing, speaking, creating videos, or teaching, she can be found playing with her niece, spending time with her husband, and going to the therapy pool to relax.
