Before writing and illustrating children's books, Kathryn T. George practiced pathology for over 35 years. After retiring from medicine, she turned her attention to her three grandchildren. Unfortunately, the pandemic had just arrived which kept her at a distance from them. She began creating books as a way to connect. By the time the pandemic had subsided, she had found a new career! She uses her detail observational skills as a pathologist to illustrate the books and her love of words to write accompanying rhymes.
