A decade before Candidate Donald Trump announced his newly acquired obsession with building a wall on the US-Mexico border, investigative journalist Juan B. Juan B. Botero is a cross-cultural communication consultant with media production and business development experience servicing private, government and non-profit interests in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States. He was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Bogotá, Colombia. During his military service in the Colombian Army, he was trained in counterintelligence at the Batallón de Infantería Miguel Antonio Caro (MAC). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University and is a member of the National Press Photographer's Association (NPPA), the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
