Legacy

"Legacy" is a short bedtime book that is also simple and sweet. The text's message is essentially, "it doesn't matter what I achieve or have achieved in my life, because YOU are what I've achieved and that's more than enough. You are my legacy that I will leave behind someday," (no, we don't get into the dying part!). The idea is to inspire the child to dream big for themselves and the magical illustrations help that along, showing kids of all races, ethnicities and genders playing a role (super hero, guitar god, scientist, astronaut, explorer, pilot - for example).

Autor

When Kevin's son was born in 2008, he started to document the days with him in a blog that was written directly to Owen. This is an excerpt from one of those entries, put into book form. During the global pandemic of 2020, Kevin found himself with a little extra time and published his first children's book, called Dream: A Goodnight Book (now a best-selling children's book on Amazon.com). The success of that book inspired Kevin to create this one, and probably several more in the future. When asked why he wrote this, Kevin says, "when Owen gets older, I wanted him to read this book and know that I recognized that my legacy is going to live through his life, and I'm going to do my best to help him do more and be more than I ever have done or been. That is exactly what my father did for me. And that is how legacies are built." We hope you find it fulfilling when reading this book to your legacy as well.
