The purpose of this book is to share the language learning strategies used by Botswana students acquiring English as a second language. It also examines whether the choice of strategies is affected by the factors of different age/level of education, proficiency and gender. The research also explores whether the students'self-efficacy beliefs correlated with thier use of language learning strategies.

Autor

Dr Magogwe is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana. He is an Applied Linguist and a teacher educater. He has also run workshops for teachers, in¿service trainees and professionals in public and private departments. He has published a book, modules and articles in referred journals both locally and internationally.
