The fourth chapter deals with the land revenue administrative systems i.e.,Village rent system, Ryotwary system, Permanent settlement under the East India Company. The fifth chapter made an attempt to examine the land revenue systems i.e., New settlements and Resettlements under the British Crown. In the sixth chapter an attempt has been made to examine and analyse the administrative machinery and the procedures for the collection of land revenue. The final chapter is the concluding chapter in which the major findings of the study were incorporated.
