For the past 4 years, blogger turned author Alena Kate Pettitt has been part of a quiet underground movement among young women who are embracing old-fashioned values and rejecting the pressures society puts on our young women of today. Having suffered from low self-esteem as a teenager, Alena soon realised the boost in confidence and spiritual transformation that blossoms when young women set clear boundaries and standards for themselves and finally embrace their natural femininity. Her debut book "Ladies Like Us", provides practical guidance on boosting self-esteem and realising the power that lies in the feminine identity. The Darling Academy series will arm all young women of today with the skills and encouragement they need to become the classy, kind, educated and romantic young women they were created to be. Alena is a wife, mother and author. She lives in the Cotswolds, England with her husband, two sons and agoraphobic cat.
