Austria has experienced significant migration in recent decades. Immigration policy in Austria has been influenced by the introduction of work-related immigration from third countries and has attracted large numbers of workers to Austria in recent decades. The consequences of immigration policy are evident in a considerable increase in irregular migration and a growing number of migrants in precarious situations. For countries with large immigrant populations, the question of integration inevitably arises. In the Austrian context, integration policy for immigrants has been further developed, gradually emphasising the integration of Turkish migrants into the labour market as the country's primary integration priority. This master's thesis examines the possible effects of Turkish migrants on the Austrian labour market. Based on the theoretical part of this thesis, various factors influencing the labour market integration of Turkish migrants were identified and interpreted using graphical representations.
