Como la favorita del ama, a ella le gusta pasar sus sosegados días en el calor de la casa. Pero entonces, aparece una mamá liebre sobresaltada pidiendo ayuda. Su insistencia vence a la resistencia de la gata sanadora, llevándola en la noche a través de una tormenta de nieve y de una fuerte helada.
