A native of Brooklyn, New York, and a proud graduate of Florida A&M University located in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from this historical institution with a degree majoring in Broadcast Journalism. Romona has a background in radio, where she worked as Program Director for WAMF-90.5, hosted her own Gospel radio morning show, and served as Mistress of Ceremony for a host of events. Romona gained experience and served her community as a Regional Banking District Manager for Wells Fargo, overseeing the operation of the Gainesville District, which comprises eight branches and one-hundred and four team members, and is now transitioning as an entrepreneur! Launching FinanSense, LLC, Romona will serve as a financial coach with a focus on helping to educate and empower individuals, families, ministries, and organizations on money management and strengthening their overall financial plan and outlook through one on one coaching sessions and financial literacy workshops! She is also the owner of Total Life Productions, LLC, where she earns credit as an author by having published two books: Redefining Me: A 90 Day Devotional and Know Your Worth: You Are Not Your Past. With the upcoming release of her third book: Crazy Faith, Unexplainable Peace: Lessons My Mother Taught Me. As a Playwright, Romona has produced and debuted two stage-plays, "Train up a Child" and "Me, Myself and God," and has directed two plays for the Star Center Theater: Aretha and The Bodyguard, where she has the distinct privilege of serving as the President of the Star Center Executive Board.Because of her life experiences, Romona is passionate about helping to rejuvenate and energize individuals and families holistically, striving to help build strong families, thereby resulting in strong communities spiritually, physically, and financially. Romona is a certified Zumba instructor, certified Les Mills BodyPump instructor, and an avid runner. She is also a dedicated member of Faith Church, a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, for 27 years and an excited member of the Gainesville Chapter (FL) of The Links, Incorporated.
