Michael A. Evans is cofounder of the Unity Men's Group of Chicago. He has nearly two decades of experience as a pastor and as executive director of the Developing Communities Project, an organization dedicated to community justice. David L. McFadden is cofounder of the Unity Men's Group of Chicago. He is a nephrologist and serves as the medical director, cofounder, and co-owner of Affiliated Dialysis of Joliet and Morris, Illinois; he has also served in ministry for more than forty years. Michael O. Emerson is the Harry and Hazel Chavanne Fellow in Religion and Public Policy at the Baker Institute, a policy research organization based at Rice University. He was the founding director of Rice's Center on Race, Religion, and Urban Life. His publications include The Religion of Whiteness: How Racism Distorts Christian Faith (coauthored with Glenn E. Bracey II) and Blacks and Whites in Christian America (coauthored with Jason E. Shelton).
