With defending oneself so severely the task is daunting and requires discipline, maturity, and serious training. That is why this book is intended for those practitioners that have achieved the role of Mastery of their art. This is not a book for the casual practitioner. With the title of Master, or Sabumnim, comes the responsibility to understand that on the street our actions have consequences; both for ourselves, and for the people that may choose to do harm to us. It is written for an audience that does not attack, or defend, with impunity, but with an understanding of the measure of the threat and the result and consequences of the response.
