People with conflict and confusion dominating their lives, and none of them knows what is coming.Max has lived a lot of life, after all he has reached typical retirement age. He has encountered many crossroads and knows he will encounter others. Yet he is still surprised by the choices he now faces and wonders what is next. Eva, the single mother just starting her career, faces a crossroads of her own. A crossroads that has her frightened and confused. She is frightened not only for herself but for her infant daughter as well. Her fear is not just for the new job or her new life as a single mother, but more basic than that, she has no experience with a newborn. Carly, the infant daughter, seems not to care about any of that. She does seem to care about Copper, the puppy she meets. Then there is the wild card.
