It is worth familiarising yourself with these as you work through the puzzles. Learning to spot which sums have relatively few options is a great way to get a foothold into many of the puzzles. Kakuro puzzles can be tricky to solve, particularly these jumbo puzzles. However, all puzzles have a single solution that can be reached through the use of logic, maths and cross-referencing alone, you will never need to take a guess to solve these puzzles. You will often require patience, however, and to carefully think through the options for a run of squares and then cross-reference these against crossing runs in order to make progress. All solutions are included at the back of the book so if you get stuck, or just want to check your answer is correct, please do look there.
