John Hagelin is an American particle physicist, three-time candidate of the Natural Law Party for President of the United States, and a leader of the Transcendental Meditation movement in the US. In 1992, 1996, and 2000, Hagelin ran for US president on the Natural Law Party ticket, appearing on the ballot in as many as 44 states and gaining up to 0.1% support.
