The author has addressed this by creating a comprehensive study of the Leas of Caswell and Person Counties, North Carolina, based on original records. Volume I details this important research and outlines the first three generations of early Lea families. Volume II: Appendices of sources: copies of the original records as noted in Volume I. Volume III: This volume in color improves the Big Y-DNA study of the Lea family from Caswell and Person Counties, North Carolina (shown in black-and-white in Volume I). This is the most comprehensive Y-DNA study done to date, offering key insights into the Leas' heritage. The study was conducted by the Rev.
