This is a special anniversary issue in celebration of the 50th volume in the Yearbook of Liturgy and Hymnology series. It opens with a review of the history of this series of yearbooks. The volume is rounded off by a historical review of the past few years. The section on hymnology is devoted to questions surrounding music in the Church and other publications in this regard.
