Since she came home to the Rolling Star Ranch, he's been patient once again, giving her time to heal. His sister, Chey's best friend, keeps telling him he's moving too slowly. Maybe she's right. Chey's painful breakup with her fiancé, followed by witnessing a neighborhood store owner shot during a robbery, sent her hightailing it out of Dallas and back home. She's done with the big city.
