Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS Handschar (kroatische Nr.1) and 23.Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS Kama (kroatische Nr.2). The corps was moved to the Backa region in Hungary to complete formation and training. The Handschar was not initially transferred to the corps, being involved in fighting against Tito's partisan forces in occupied Yugoslavia.
